Wow… What a difference.
I was just flipping through the guide here and landed on the Showtime HD Channel, for some heated boxing. Usually the programming on the HD channels is different from their Standard Def counterparts… but I decided to hop over to the normal Showtime channel anyways.
It turns out the same boxing match was being broadcast on both channels…. and can I just tell you what an amazing way that is to gain an appreciation for HDTV. Now don’t get me worng, I have Dish Network Satellite and the standard channels are really awesome… but the difference on the HD channels is like night and day.
It’s not world peace…. but as far as TV goes, it’s pretty cool.
The fight you ask? Damn, the guy who lost this fight is being interviewed, and his left eye is pretty much swollen shut. WBC Lightweight Title. These guys punch like lightning.
